The proper care and maintenance of our skin are essential for healthy, youthful-looking skin.
Having the right products at home that are formulated specifically to your particular needs can provide long-term benefits. At OC Cosmetic and Vein Center, we are proud to be your one-stop shop for all of your skincare needs!
Hyperpigmentation can be caused by several things like spending too much time in the sun or taking certain medications. Hyperpigmented skin is darker than usual and often appears as freckles, age spots, dark circles under your eyes, or even melasma – which are patches that may appear on various areas around your face like cheeks, forehead, etc.
Though hyperpigmentation is relatively common and harmless, we understand that you might feel self-conscious about it because an uneven skin tone can be aging. An effective targeted program of treatments has been shown to reduce the signs of hyperpigmentation dramatically.
At OC Cosmetic and Vein Center, we use ZO Skin Health, which provides a range of products and treatments that can make the difference you’re looking for. The product is backed by extensive testing, so it’s proven to work!
ZO Skin Health for hyperpigmentation in 3 steps:
Step 1 - The Initial Consultation
During your first appointment, we will discuss ways to help you with ZO Skin Health and discuss how severe your hyperpigmentation is. For specific treatments, like hydroquinone systems or peels, it’s a good idea for you to follow a pre-and-post skin conditioning program. We’ll go over this in detail so that there are no surprises!
Step 3- The Aftercare
The post-procedure skin conditioning program will be designed specifically for your skin to help you maintain the results of your treatment. Chemical peels, for example, will require up to 10 days of downtime after use to allow them time to heal and show positive effects.
Our experienced staff of caring and qualified skincare professionals at OC Cosmetic and Vein Center can provide skincare solutions for any skin type. Contact us today to schedule a consultation.
Step 2 -Your Treatment
Your treatment will take up to an hour and involve various steps, including one that targets hyperpigmentation.
