Endovenous Laser Ablation
Endovenous Laser Ablation is used to treat varicose veins.
A small laser fiber is inserted, through a needle stick in the skin, into the damaged vein. Pulses of light are delivered inside the vein, which causes the vein to collapse and seal shut. This treatment is FDA approved and is done in-office under local anesthesia. Patients can return to normal activity right away with minimal discomfort.
